Powerful Presentations for the Police

March was Powerful Presentations for the Police.....

March was Powerful Presentations for the Police.  We ran a two day residential course for West Mercia Police at their Worcester HQ, Hindlip Hall, and two similar courses for North Wales Police at the Deganwy Quays Hotel near Conwy.  Hindlip Hall is beautiful, but the view from the training room at the Deganwy Quay Hotel over the estuary to Conwy Castle and town is incomparable.  The delegates, however, found little time to enjoy the view!

 Comments from the delegates included:

“Excellent.  Good fun! Enjoyed working with colleagues.  Excellent, constructive feedback – good process.  Full days – thought a late night/ lengthy day would be hard, but the whole course felt energised throughout.” Sally Yates, Head of Learning & Development, West Mercia Police

“If you had told me beforehand, that I would leave the course being able and have the confidence to present a structured and coherent presentation with 5 seconds notice, - I would have thought you were mad. Excellent.” Angela Burnet, Chief Inspector, West Mercia Police

“Renewed confidence.  I feel upgraded, yet the course was fun and made learning an earned pleasure.  Peter took us to the edge of a cliff, pushed us, and we flew.”  Sarah Chaloner, Chief Inspector, West Mercia Police

“Excellent.  A four day course crammed into two days, quite exhausting & challenging at times, but rewarding.  Just like running a murder investigation!” Sheila Thornes, Chief Superintendent, West Mercia Police

“Excellent.  This course gave me a great deal of new thoughts and ideas on how to deliver excellent presentations.” Wayne Jones, Detective Chief Inspector, North Wales Police

“Excellent.  Peter full of energy and commitment.  Learned loads from watching Peter and the other delegates present.  Took a lot from this course.” Graham Talbot, Detective Chief Inspector, North Wales Police

“Superb.  Took what ability I had and built upon it.  The progress I made in the space of 2 days surprised me.”  Dyfan Jones, District Inspector, North Wales Police

“This course takes away the crutches of previous presentations, but enables you to stand on your own feet and deliver with confidence.  Excellent.” Gerwyn Lloyd, Detective Chief Inspector, North Wales Police
